Beneath The Willow by Gemma Farrow

Beneath The WillowLove is a wonderful thing and true love is supposed to outlast life itself.  What would you do if you had to put that concept to the test?  Could you love to the death and beyond to honor a promise?

Thomas and Keziah are in love and that is no problem because it works for them.  They have been together for three years and life is great for them until one fateful night when their worlds are turned upside down.  Keziah is involved with a life altering event that will change her and Thomas relationship forever.  A promise is a promise and they are supposed to be kept no matter what but what happens when you don’t, can’t or won’t keep your promise to the one that you claim that you love, then how does the love proceed?  Does love truly extend from life through to death?

Beneath The Willow is a short fantasy/romance story that is full of energy from the word “GO”!  You don’t necessarily have to be into the supernatural to grasp what is going on because if you are a romantic you will totally understand and you will miss the two worlds colliding and grabbing you in.  This is a great read for just forty-three pages, you will read the entire story in one sitting.  Congrats to Gemma Farrow on her freshman works, I look forward to seeing more from her in the future.

Beneath The Willow is available for purchase on Amazon.com and Amazon.com.UK in Kindle edition only.

Secrets For Revenge by English Ruler

Secrets For RevengeThe saying “Revenge is a dish best served cold” comes from the origins of “Vengeance is more satisfying when exacted in cold blood”.  When you read this short you will totally understand these saying.

Milton Poole is your average teenager, well he is trying to be your average teenager.  Milton lives in a single mother household which is already bad enough because he misses not having a dad around.   In addition to that he is having to deal with being bullied at school.  Milton doesn’t bother anyone so why he is the target of this bully is unknown to him.  Not seeing any relief in sight, Milton figures there is only one thing that he can do to get this bully off of his back and Milton starts making plans.  In the process unfortunately for Milton he is soon going to find out why he is the target and that changes everything for Milton.  How do you process the information that you received and what do you do with it?

Secrets For Revenge is a short story just 16 pages, but they are a powerful 16 pages.  This is dealing with something that children are dealing with so often today and it is something that needs to stop.  Many times stories like this are taboo, authors are scared to touch on these subjects but I commend English Ruler for writing this story!  I enjoyed this story, I enjoy her work and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Secrets For Revenge is available for purchase through Amazon.com in Kindle edition only.

Vengeance Unleashed by Tony Wade

Vengeance UnleashedThe word Vengeance means:  The act of doing something to hurt someone because that person did something to hurt you or someone else.  Most people might never consider getting revenge on someone who has done them wrong but in certain cases as with Sybil it is just something to past the time away.

Sybil Maines is not you run of the mill every day average woman.  Sybil’s training from her previous employer has her a highly skilled killing machine that can not be stopped.  Sybil doesn’t bother anyone that doesn’t deserve to be bothered and she lies low the majority of the time.  It is not until her previous employer seeks her out to complete one last mission with an offer that she couldn’t possible refuse as much as she try to.  Sybil is two things curious and thorough, though she hates to admit it she will do this for herself not for them.  Little does she know that her employer have an ulterior motive also for wanting specifically her for this mission.

Vengeance Unleashed is an exciting book with some good dramatic fight scenes.  It is a mystery that has you guessing about loyalty and hoping that your suspicions are wrong.  This is Tony Wade’s freshman novel and he has a great imagination and this is a great start to the story, I can’t wait to see how it ends.

I see that Vengeance Unleashed is currently out of print so I hope that means by this book being submitted for review that it is going to be re-released soon.  I look forward to reading more from Tony Wade in the future.

The Last Snowman by JC Little

the last snowmanThe Last Snowman is a children’s picture book about a fourteen year old girl who on one of the last days of winter decided to make a snowman.  The innocence in that is not too many teenagers would still like to make a snowman.  The joy that she allows this task to bring her is infectious and spreads to her little brother.  But as in life when we are children, when things don’t go our way we call on our mothers to save the day.  Great story, pictures are happy and fun.  I enjoyed the read for a small child and it will be easy for them to read on their own with no problem.

How I Met The Man Of My Dreams: A Guide To MANifesting Yours by Debbianne DeRose

MANbook-CoverFrontSelf help book are difficult to review because they are a matter of interpretation, what might help one might not help another.  That is the good thing about reading the title and the synopsis because you can tell if it is a good fit for you.  Looking at the title of this book who wouldn’t want to meet the man of their dreams?

Many self-help books are so harsh and strict that people lose interest in them not long after they start reading them because they get discouraged if they don’t have immediate results.  This is not one of those books.  This book gives you help from a personal perspective and is fun and witty at the same time and gives you pointers on how your should approach reaching your goal of getting the man of your dreams.  There is no pressure on the reader to reach goals by a certain timeline, the ultimate goal is to be happy and that is what self-help is about, helping one self to be happy.  I enjoyed this book and the author and her group of friends are AWESOME.  Debbianne DeRose is on to something with her style of writing and I have enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading more from her in the future.
